Motel Accommodation in Gold Coast

Find Accommodation

Located on the east coast of Australia, between Brisbane and the border between Queensland and New South Wales, is the Gold Coast. The region was largely uninhabited until 1823, when explorer John Oxley landed at Mermaid Beach.

It is one of the country’s major national and international tourist destinations due largely to its gorgeous subtropical climate, sunny surf beaches, beautiful rainforest hinterland and high-rise dominated skyline.

One of the biggest attractions associated with cheap accommodation on the Gold Coast is the theme parks. Dreamworld boasts over 50 rides that are suitable for visitors of all ages, meet your favourite stars and characters at Warner Bros. Movie World, get up close and personal with our sea life at Seaworld, and make a splash at Wet’n’Wild Water World or WhiteWater World.

Other visitors choose budget motels on the Gold Coast to soak up sun, sand and surf. There are plenty of beaches within the area, including those at Surfer’s Paradise, Broadbeach, Main Beach, Currumbin, Coolangatta, Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach, South Stradbroke Island, Snapper Rocks (where you can catch the region’s most popular surf) and Kirra Beach.
