Boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and BBQ facilities, Seymour Motel is a 2-minute drive from the heart of Seymour. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV and certain rooms will also have a DVD and Blu Ray player. Portable DVD players are available upon requests. Seymour Motel is a 20-minute drive from Puckapunyal Tank Museum and a 25-minute drive from Lake Nagambie.

The Seymor Motel is in Seymour which nestles among beautiful hills at the foot of the Tallarook State Forest and Trawool Valley, with great access to wineries, snowfields, mountains, rivers and lakes. 

The Tallarok State Forest is a great spot to enjoy the outdoors offering a wide range of recreational activities such as four wheel driving, hiking, bushwalking, trail bike riding and fishing. Picnic and BBQ facilities are also provided making for a great day trip!

Seymour was one of Victoria’s first ‘Railway Towns’ and is rich with railway heritage. A short 5 minute drive away is J.W Elliot Reserve that features what’s known as the ‘Old Black Train’.  Bring the family and enjoy a BBQ, playground facilities and see the genuine steam train that was built in 1913. 

Also just a few minutes away from The Seymour Motel is the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre. The centre has an extensive fleet of preserved diesel locomotives and air conditioned steel and heritage wooden carriages. The Seymour Railway Heritage Centre also has workshop facilities for both old and modern locomotives. 

If it’s wine you prefer you can’t miss stopping by Wine by Sam which is also a few minutes from The Seymour Motel. Wine by Sam is an urban winery and cellar door that is run by Sam Plunkett. Enjoy the winery tour, wine tasting, cheese board and tapas then head back to The Seymour Motel for some relaxation.
